Abstract


With the development of video games, gaming has become an important medium for spreading Chinese culture. Black Myth:
Wukong, as a representative of Chinese games skillfully combines traditional Chinese mythology with modern design concepts, enhancing
cultural identity through intricate visuals, rich sound effects, and profound storylines. This paper summarizes the application of multimodal
discourse analysis in the cultural dissemination of video games, providing a reference for future cultural exports of Chinese games and demonstrating the potential of video games in promoting Chinese culture.
