An Analysis of the Guiding Role of Character Creation in Animated Films on Childrens Growth

Fan Yang

Abstract

Aesthetic education plays a vital role in nurturing students, and animated films, as a significant medium of aesthetic education, hold
crucial importance in guiding childrens growth. Characters in animated films can be categorized into three types: positive, negative, and complex. Through childrens psychological projection and identification mechanisms, animated films guide their understanding of moral concepts
like good and evil. By fostering emotional resonance and psychological support, these films provide comfort and encouragement to children.
Additionally, through role models and emotional internalization mechanisms, they cultivate childrens ethics and values.
