Shengping Li

Abstract

This paper aims to explore how synesthesia can enhance students musical expressiveness. It first elucidates the concept of synesthesia and its theoretical foundations, analyzing its significant role in improving students musical performance. Then, drawing from practical teaching experiences, it delves into teaching strategies oriented towards synesthesia, including using multimedia resources to create
audio-visual scenarios, integrating music with art for interdisciplinary teaching, and guiding students in audio-visual association and creation.
Through case studies, these strategies have been validated for their notable effects in stimulating students interest in music, deepening their
understanding of music, and enriching their musical expression, providing new ideas and methods for music education.
