Chaoshan Yarn Drawing IP Design in Cultural and Creative Application Design Practice
Abstract
list. This paper takes Chaozhou spinning, a national intangible cultural heritage, as the research object, and deeply discusses its innovative application in cultural and creative packaging design. As the essence of Chaoshan culture, Chaoshan drawn yarn combines traditional Chaoshan
embroidery with western drawn yarn techniques, which has profound historical background and unique artistic value. However, with the
change of consumption trend in modern society, the traditional market of spinning is gradually shrinking, and it is urgent to achieve a win-win
situation between cultural inheritance and commercial value through innovative design. This paper takes Chaozhou spinning, a national intangible cultural heritage, as the research object, and systematically discusses the innovative transformation path of traditional crafts in modern
cultural and creative design through the combination of literature research, field research and design practice. This paper constructs an innovative model of IP-based intangible cultural heritage , focuses on the practical exploration of the extraction of yarn-drawing pattern elements
and anthropomorphic design, and successfully develops the IP image of yarn-drawing doll and a series of derivative cultural and creative
products. The research of this paper provides a practical reference for the application of intangible cultural heritage in the field of modern design, and also provides a new way of thinking for the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
