Abstract


This thesis focuses on the image of New Year pictures in propaganda paintings, and deeply analyzes their formation background, artistic features and cultural connotations. By sorting out the images of New Year pictures in propaganda pictures of different historical periods,
this paper explores the application and innovation of traditional New Year picture elements in propaganda pictures, reveals their unique roles
in propaganda effects and cultural inheritance, and further presents the close connection and evolution between propaganda paintings and traditional New Year pictures.
