Cross Cultural Dissemination and Internationalization Challenges of Chinese Opera in the Era of New Media

Abstract

Chinese opera, as a typical representative of excellent traditional Chinese culture, has developed a unique artistic system and aesthetic value over thousands of years. Its cross-cultural dissemination is of great significance in the context of globalization. With the rapid development of digital technology and the widespread popularity of new media platforms, traditional Chinese opera art is facing unprecedented
opportunities for dissemination and transformation challenges. In the context of the strategy of building a strong cultural nation, studying the
innovative path of international dissemination of traditional Chinese opera in the era of new media is not only related to the dynamic inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, but also an important issue in enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture. In recent years,
Tiktok, YouTube and other platforms have emerged a number of successful drama communication cases, but there are still problems such as
fragmentation of communication, audience limitations, cultural misreading and so on. There is an urgent need to systematically study key
factors such as technology empowerment, cultural adaptation, industrial collaboration, and build a new drama communication paradigm that
conforms to contemporary international communication laws.
