Yitong Wang

Abstract

Theatre is an ancient and vital art, which is both the cultural memory of humanity and a unique medium of cross-cultural communication in the environment of globalisation. With its unique way of expression and deep subject matter, theatre builds a bridge of communication for people across cultures and regions. The cultural, aesthetic and social values it embodies hold irreplaceable significance in enhancing
cultural diversity, social cohesion and regional cultural flexibility. This paper aims to demonstrate the efficacy of theatre activities as a medium
for cultural and artistic exchange. Through comprehensive case studies and data analysis, it explores operational strategies that achieve a synergistic balance between social benefits and economic returns.
