Technology, Environment, and Academic Community: Ecological Operation of Scientific Journals WeChat Platforms from the Perspective of Media Ecology
Abstract
platform, leveraging its vast user base and convenient dissemination features, has become an important choice for scientific journals to expand
their communication channels. This paper, from the perspective of media ecology, regards the WeChat platform as a "technological environment" for academic dissemination. It deeply analyzes its reconstruction of interaction rules within the academic community, including the
dissolution of knowledge authority and the rise of socialized dissemination. On this basis, it proposes ecological operation paths for scientific
journals WeChat platforms, aiming to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for scientific journals to better utilize the WeChat
platform to promote academic dissemination.
