The Impact of Media Culture on the Socialisation Process of Adolescents
Abstract
to collect relevant theories, analyse them in conjunction with practical examples, and explore the significance of media culture in the socialisation of adolescents, as well as how to promote their healthy development. Through examination, it is evident that media culture provides adolescents with various types of information and creates interactive platforms, thereby broadening their horizons, enhancing their social skills,
and guiding their value orientations. Based on the Cognitive Load Theory, Social Learning Theory, and Uses and Gratifications Theory, methods such as information literacy improvement strategies, content control measures, and usage planning strategies are beneficial for adolescents
to achieve healthy socialisation development within a media culture environment.
