Abstract


Chinese animated film Nezha 2 is a big hit, not only is it a great success for the domestic box office in China, but it also marks a
great milestone in the film exhibition of Chinese cultural movies. In this paper, I will discuss on the great practice of the Film on technologically empowering the Oriental aesthetics. This paper studies the films revolutionary fusion of the latest, best VFX and delicate classic Chinese
artistic conception This paper perceives Nezha 2 has gone beyond the showing off the tech, it uses the digital tools to reinterpret and refresh
the old aesthetic for the audience all around the world today. In terms of achievements, it is a detailed analysis of certain technologies, and the
most conspicuous achievement is the creation and use of a "dynamic ink wash rendering engine" which in digital terms mimics the textural
and spiritual qualities of shuimhu(ink wash paintings).
