Application of Rural Cultural Elements in Landscape Planning and Design of Beautiful Villages

Abstract

With the advancement of rural revitalization strategies, the development of beautiful villages has become a crucial mission. As
distinctive cultural markers and invaluable assets of rural areas, local cultural elements play an irreplaceable role in landscape planning and
design for picturesque villages. This paper explores the value of local cultural elements in rural landscape planning, analyzes common types
of such elements, elaborates on their specific application principles and strategies, and provides theoretical support and practical references
through case studies. The aim is to offer actionable guidance for creating regionally distinctive, culturally rich, and sustainably developed
beautiful village landscapes.
