Abstract

With globalization and digital intelligence, cultural communication has profoundly changed, presenting traditional culture with
unprecedented opportunities and challenges. As a traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage, Chaoshan Yingge Dance has gained
widespread attention domestically and abroad in recent years. This paper focuses on its transcultural communication, exploring how to leverage modern technologies for its inheritance and development. First, it introduces transcultural communication and its role in intangible
cultural heritage dissemination, emphasizing that it involves not only cultural content sharing but also the innovation and reconstruction of
cultural forms and connotations. Second, by reviewing current research on Chaoshan Yingge Dance, the paper analyzes its viral spread via
short videos as a successful model of transcultural communication, promoting high-quality Chinese cultural dissemination. It also discusses development paths, finding that effective transcultural communication requires diverse content, integration of local context, and innovative expression methods. Through diversified communication, intangible cultural heritage can enhance its voice and influence, accurately
showcasing Chinese culture globally and improving international understanding of China. The study demonstrates that Chaoshan Yingge
Dance's transcultural communication has boosted its cultural influence and offered valuable insights for protecting and innovatively inheriting intangible cultural heritage.
