Hainan Higher Vocational Dance Talent Development: An Integrative Framework of Local Cultural Translation and Workplace Competence
Abstract
Against the backdrop of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the deep integration of culture and tourism, higher-vocational dance programs in Hainan are shifting from single-skill training to a dual emphasis on local cultural transmission and workplace competence. Taking
a regional perspective, this study proposes a talent-development framework anchored in Hainan's indigenous cultural resources, steered by
industry positions, and implemented through diversified practice. Through a five-in-one designregionpositionscurriculumpracticeassessmentthe framework promotes the coordinated enhancement of dance technique, cultural literacy, creative composition, and industry
linkage. The study argues that a model featuring localized content, project-based learning, scenario-based practice, data-intelligent assessment, and collaborative co-education can cultivate high-caliber, technically skilled graduates with both cultural depth and job readiness,
offering a replicable pathway for the supply-side reform of dance education and the sustainable development of Hainan's regional cultural
ecosystem.
