A Study on the Application of Screen Art in Modern Interior Space Design

Tianyue Yuan

Abstract

As a core cultural medium in traditional Chinese interior spaces, screen art not only embodies the craftsmanship wisdom of
ancient artisans but also profoundly interprets the spiritual essence of traditional aesthetics. This study, grounded in a systematic analysis of the artistic form language and cultural connotations of folding screens, focuses on exploring the intrinsic connection between their
functional attributes and aesthetic characteristics. Adopting a research perspective centered on integration into modern interior spaces, it
expands their application dimensions while upholding the concept of innovative development to enhance the cultural depth and artistic expressiveness of spatial environments.
