A Study on the Interpersonal Function of the News Discourse on Community with a Shared Future from the Perspective of Appraisal Theory
Abstract
patterning of attitudinal resources. Findings show a predominance of positive Judgement and Appreciation, which function to legitimize the
concept and project an image of China as a responsible and cooperative global actor. The study concludes that the strategic deployment of appraisal resources is a key linguistic mechanism for building reader alignment and advancing China's diplomatic narrative.
