The Complementarity of Paris And Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremonies from the Cross Cultural Perspective

Abstract


Taking the Paris Olympic Games and the Beijing Olympic Games as examples, this paper explores in depth the different cultural
characteristics displayed in the opening ceremonies of the two events. Through comparative analysis, it provides detailed descriptions of the
specific scenes and cultural elements presented at both opening ceremonies. This paper further examines the complementarity between Chinese and French cultures as demonstrated in the Olympic opening ceremonies, which is of great significance for promoting cultural exchange
and global cultural development.
