Research on the International Cooperation Legal Mechanism of Transnational Cultural Heritage Protection
Abstract
mechanisms. This article first defines the concept and types of transnational cultural heritage, emphasizing its overall value and the necessity
of protection. Secondly, analyze the international legal framework centered around UNESCO, and sort out its evolution and practical achievements. Furthermore, explore the core components of international cooperation legal mechanisms, including information sharing, joint management, resource protection, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Research has pointed out that current mechanisms still face challenges in
coordinating national sovereignty and common governance, and bridging capacity gaps among countries. Finally, suggestions are put forward
to strengthen performance supervision, promote capacity building, and encourage diverse participation, in order to improve the global governance system for the protection of transnational cultural heritage.
