A Study on the Generation Mechanism of Hybrid Language in Local Media under the "Two-Level and Five-Step" Framework

Li Quan, Yu Wang

Abstract

Based on the "Two-Level and Five-Step" analytical framework of discursive interaction in Critical Discourse Studies(CDS), this
study examines the hybrid language in local media to explore the interaction mechanism between dialect and Mandarin. Through case analysis of the program "Tianfu Shifang", the study reveals that hybrid language generation involves a dialectical process combining linguistic
recontextualization and social factors. At the linguistic level, dialect elements are integrated into Mandarin frameworks with complementary
functions, while at the social level, power relations and ideologies create dynamic tension, resulting in signifi cant instability. This research
validates the frameworks applicability to media language analysis and offers theoretical insights for local media in balancing cultural heritage
with information dissemination.
