Overseas Communication Strategies of Chinese Cultural IPs from the Perspective of International Communication

Abstract


Against the backdrop of the in-depth adjustment of the global communication pattern and the continuous advancement of the strategy of promoting Chinese culture globally, cultural IPs have become important carriers for crossing language barriers and conveying Chinese
values. The perspective of international communication places higher requirements on the overseas communication of Chinese cultural IPs,
which not only need to adhere to cultural cores but also adapt to the cognitive habits and communication scenarios of overseas audiences.
Based on the core logic of international communication, combined with the overseas communication practices of cultural IPs such as Palace
Museum Cultural and Creative Products, Genshin Impact, and Li Ziqi, this paper explores effective paths for the overseas communication of
Chinese cultural IPs from four dimensions: IP core construction, communication channel innovation, precise audience adaptation, and international cooperation empowerment. It aims to provide ideas for enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture and building bridges for
cross-cultural communication.
