Abstract


This paper focuses on modern fashion design in both China and the West, conducts a comparative study on the transformation of traditional clothing elements, Chinese Frog Closures and Rococo Lace, reveals the modern transformation characteristics of traditional clothing
elements under different cultural backgrounds of China and the West by analyzing the presentation modalities, cultural connotation transmission and aesthetic value embodiment of the two in modern design, and aims to provide theoretical reference for the application of traditional
clothing elements in fashion design, and promote the exchange and integration of Chinese and Western fashion cultures.
