Analysis of News Trust Mechanisms and Fake News in the Artificial Intelligence Era
Abstract
fake news, exerting a severe impact on the traditional news trust system centered on authenticity. This paper analyzes the generative and communicative characteristics of fake news in the AI era as well as the mechanism by which it erodes news trust. It systematically explores the
core technical, institutional, and social causes of the impairment to trust mechanisms, and constructs a multi-coordinated trust reconstruction
path from the dimensions of technological empowerment, institutional guarantee, literacy improvement, and industry self-regulation. The research aims to provide solid theoretical reference and actionable practical guidance for fortifying the line of news credibility in the digital age
and promoting the healthy development of the media industry.
