This study examines Andrew Wyeth's landscape paintings to explore the dynamic interplay between perception, nature, and selfawareness in artistic creation. Amid the urban modernization wave sweeping through 20th-century America, Wyeth established a distinctive
artistic stance by immersing himself in the natural landscapes of Chaddsford, Pennsylvania, and Cushing, Maine. His worksdepicting with
lyrical precision withered trees, desolate plains, wild grasses, and frozen vistasevoked profound rural sentiment. Rather than mere documentation of scenery, his paintings construct a philosophical inner world through natural imagery, forming a metaphorical visual system. This
creative approach not only redefines the aesthetic value of rural themes but also provides methodological insights into the subject-object relationship in contemporary art through the spiritual transformation of physical objects.
