Chutan Zheng, Qin Ye

Abstract

Currently, the training of art and design talents in universities faces issues such as a disconnection between theory and practice and
insufficient alignment with industry demands, which restricts the improvement of talent cultivation quality. This paper, combined with prac
tice, discusses the characteristics and educational value of studio-based teaching, focusing on its practical pathways in university art and de
sign talent training. By establishing school-enterprise integrated platforms, promoting project-driven models, and forming mentor teams com
posed of both full-time and part-time staff, it addresses key pain points in cultivation. The research can promote the reform of art and design
education, enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of talent training, and achieve synchronization between talent cultivation and industry
needs, which is of significant importance.
