Research on the Packaging Design of Foshan Awakening Lion Based on the Kano Model
Abstract
rent research gaps in cultural and creative packaging, specifically the inadequate identification of user needs and the unclear translation of cul
tural symbols. The research first conducted a consumer demand survey to classify and categorize user needs for Awakening Lion packaging.
Subsequently, the Kano model questionnaire and BetterWorse coefficient analysis were employed to generate a quadrant chart of demands,
quantitatively identifying the attribute types and user sensitivity of key design elements. This facilitated the refinement of actionable design
strategies and the completion of corresponding design practice. The results indicate that the Kano model can effectively enhance the objectiv
ity of identifying emotional needs, establishing a clearer correlation between the expression of regional culture in Awakening Lion packaging
and user satisfaction. Ultimately, this study proposes a reusable packaging design framework, which not only provides methodological support
for the innovation of Foshan Awakening Lion packaging but also offers a transferable design reference for the modern dissemination of other
cultural intellectual properties.
