A Practical Study on How Visual Arts Activities Promote Physical and Mental Healing
Abstract
mental healing continues to grow. Visual art activities possess multiple characteristics: they have a low participation threshold, the process is
gentle, communication can be achieved non-verbally, and they can provide an immersive experience. These activities have already become an
important choice for people to relieve stress and adjust their physical and mental state. This article, combined with practical cases, analyzes
the healing value and inherent advantages of visual art activities, builds healing pathways suitable for different groups, organizes supporting
materials for the popularization and standardization of visual art therapy,promotes the maintenance of individual mental and physical balance,
and advances the integration of art therapy into social mental health service models.
