Vocal performance relies on the human voice to convey emotion; the creation of artistic impact is inseparable from the way the voice is
handled, and even more so from the precise presentation of emotional expression. Emotional expression holds central value in vocal performance;
it is the core foundation of the performance, a vital link bridging the gap between performer and audience, and a key factor in endowing a work
with enduring artistic vitality. Three categories of vocal techniquesbreath control, timbre adjustment, and articulationlay the groundwork
for the presentation of artistic impact, convey the primary content of emotional transmission, and refine the specific manifestations of emotional
expression. Vocal performance must establish an emotional trajectory by integrating the work's context and underlying meaning, combining vocal
techniques with emotional expression to achieve overall harmony. By drawing upon one's own life experiences and emotional depth to enhance
the authenticity of expression, this approach provides theoretical support and practical guidance for vocal performers to elevate their stage presence, thereby facilitating the deeper development of vocal artistry in terms of emotional communication and aesthetic expression.
