Research on the Innovative Application of Geographic Name Archive Knowledge Management Based on the SECI Model

Yuhe Liu, Chang Jin*

Abstract

Against the background of cultural digital transformation and the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence, the management goal of geographic name archives is shifting from carrier preservation to knowledge services. Taking the SECI model as the theoretical
framework, this paper analyzes the composition of explicit and tacit knowledge in geographic name archives, examines problems in knowledge acquisition, structural integration, cross-departmental collaboration, and service innovation, and proposes a four-stage management path
of socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. The study argues that innovative applications of geographic name archives
should be supported by institutional systems, organizational mechanisms, platforms, and evaluation mechanisms, so as to form a sustainable
knowledge transformation system.
