Research on the Value and Path of Integrating Local Intangible Cultural Heritage into Campus Culture Construction in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract

Local intangible cultural heritage serves as the core carrier for the inheritance and development of regional culture. Promoting
its integration into campus culture construction of higher vocational colleges is not only a vital way for the living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, but also an effective measure to enrich campus connotation and implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue
through education. Taking Qianjiang's local intangible cultural heritage and Jianghan Vocational College of Arts as empirical samples,
this paper analyzes the multiple values of integrating local intangible cultural heritage into the campus culture construction of higher vocational colleges. It sorts out practical problems existing in the current integration process, including superficial integration, insufficient
curriculum connection, single carriers and weak university-local linkage. Combined with the college's professional characteristics and
the resource advantages of Qianjiang's intangible cultural heritage, this paper puts forward targeted practical paths and implementable
measures, so as to provide references for similar regions and art vocational colleges to carry out the program of bringing intangible cultural heritage into campuses.
