A Conceptual Analysis of Traditional Concepts in Jin Yuelin's On Dao

Abstract

This paper examines Jin Yuelin's logical reconstruction of the traditional doctrine of Dao in his On Dao. Using the Formâ€“Energy
framework, Jin redefines core traditional concepts with modern logic, articulating Dao's ontological structure, generative mechanism, and
dynamic principles. He transforms Dao from an intuitive object into a demonstrable metaphysical system, revitalizing dormant categories in
Chinese philosophy.
