An AI-Empowered Model for High-Quality Postgraduate Education

Yaqing Liu*, Fenglei Zong

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is creating new opportunities for postgraduate education. To address outdated course content, inefficient
research support, limited individualized supervision, insufficient practical training, and research-related stress, this study proposes an AI-empowered model centered on research competence, transferable skills, and psychological resilience. AI-assisted recommendation, data analysis,
academic writing, and process feedback are integrated into teaching, research training, and program management. By combining AI support
with supervisor guidance and self-directed learning, the model aims to improve efficiency, personalization, and adaptability while safeguarding academic judgment, privacy, and responsible AI use.
