Research on the Enhancement of College Physical Education Teachers' Classroom Education Ability from the Perspective of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education

Abstract

The construction of course ideological and political education requires that college physical education courses achieve an internal
unity among the imparting of sports skills, the promotion of physical fitness, and the shaping of values. Physical education classes have distinct characteristics such as physical participation, rule constraints, competition and cooperation, and emotional experiences. The educational
process occurs more in the teaching organization, teacher-student interaction, and practical experience. Currently, some college physical
education teachers still have problems in implementing ideological and political education, such as insufficient connection between educational goals and specialized teaching, insufficient ability to transform ideological and political resources, and weak educational orientation in
classroom evaluation. To enhance the classroom educational ability of physical education teachers, we should base on the laws of the physical
education discipline, embed value guidance into teaching goals, content selection, organization and implementation, and evaluation feedback.
By reconfiguring the educational goals of specialized courses, strengthening contextualized education, and improving the support for teaching
and research evaluation, we can promote the transformation of physical education classes from "addition of ideological and political education
to skill teaching" to "natural education in physical learning", and effectively play the unique role of college physical education courses in cultivating virtue and fostering talents.
