The Theoretical Logic and Contemporary Manifestation of the Historical Subject Status of the People from the Perspective of Historical Materialism
Abstract
The Masses are the creators of history and the basic principle of historical materialism. Marx and Engels, in the process of clearing
up the heroic historical view of idealism, started from the fact that the mode of material production determines the development of society and
history, it scientifically clarifies the dominant position of the people as the creators of material and spiritual wealth and the decisive force of
social change, and dialectically explains the role of historical figures. Accurately grasping the theoretical logic of this principle is conducive to
adhering to the value position of the People's supremacy under the new historical conditions, implementing the party's mass line, and improving the institutional system in which the people are the masters of the country, so that the status of historical subject can be fully demonstrated
in practice.
