Abstract

Mathematical problem solving ability refers to the thinking ability and problem solving ability that students show in solving math-ematical problems, which is a very important ability in mathematics learning. However, because traditional mathematics teaching focuses on teaching basic concepts and algorithms and neglects the cultivation of studentsproblem-solving skills, many students are unable to begin to apply what they have learned to real-life problems. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the cultivation of studentsmath-ematical ability in the educational reform for students.
