The Dilemma and Optimization Path of Evaluation of Double First Class Construction of Chinese Universities
Abstract
that there are similarities and differences between Chinas evaluation indexes and those of foreign QS university rankings in the aspects of
academic research capacity, social service capacity, international exchange and cooperation capacity. There are dilemmas in Chinas double
first-class construction, such as the dilemma of government-led and university-affiliated subjects. The main contradictions in the construction
of double first-class evaluation can be solved by combining the governments change of role with the autonomy of universities, implementing
the concept of fairness to achieve quasi-evaluation, and developing cross-disciplines to optimise the ecology of disciplines.
