Practical Experience Application in College English Teaching

Abstract


The application of practical experience is a very important part in college English teaching. The close integration of theoretical
knowledge and practical application greatly benefits students both in terms of theoretical skills and practical application, and can greatly
enhance students cross-cultural communication skills. The transformation of college English teaching from traditional teaching methods to
student-centered teaching experiences and methods represents a significant change in educational philosophy. Traditional teaching models are
often teacher-centered, focusing on the imparting and memorization of knowledge. The student-centered teaching philosophy places more emphasis on students active participation and personalized learning. This change not only promotes the improvement of teaching materials and
methods but also greatly affects various aspects such as curriculum design, teaching evaluation, and teacher professional development.
