Exploration and Practice of English Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational College based on Cultural Confidence

Abstract


Under the background of globalization and informatization, English teaching in higher vocational colleges is facing new challenges
and opportunities. Integrating cultural confidence into the higher vocational English teaching system is not only an important way to improve
students language skills, but also a key measure to promote the promotion of national cultural soft power and the deepening of international
cultural exchanges. This paper aims to explore the necessity, current situation, problems and reform path of English curriculum reform in
higher vocational English courses under the perspective of cultural confidence, in order to provide new ideas and practical reference for higher
vocational English teaching.
