Exploring English Grammar Teaching in Senior High School from the Perspective of the Three-Dimensional Dynamic View of Grammar
Abstract
Edition Revised in 2020) (hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standards) is a three-dimensional dynamic grammatical view. The
approach places particular emphasis on the role of context and the teaching of grammar within specific contexts, as well as the learning and
application of grammatical knowledge. This paper presents a senior high school English grammar lesson example to illustrate the potential of
the three-dimensional dynamic view of grammar as a pedagogical approach to English grammar teaching at the secondary level. The lesson
example is structured around three key stages: perceiving and acquiring, exercising and internalizing, and applying and practicing. This tripartite approach is designed to enhance the effectiveness of senior high school English grammar teaching, foster students awareness of English
grammar, and improve their ability to use language in a comprehensive manner.
