Abstract

Under the background of the era of globalization and information explosion, the news industry as an important carrier of social information dissemination, the education training system is not only to keep pace, master the advanced information technology and the means
of communication, more need to deeply rooted in the fertile soil of local culture, with cultural confidence as the foundation, cultivate news
talents with global vision and local feelings. As the spiritual lifeline and cultural foundation of the Chinese nation, its excellent traditional
culture into news courses in universities is not only the demand for the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture, but also the key to
improve the quality of news education and enhance the cultural connotation and influence of news works. The aim is to discuss the necessity,
current situation, path and challenge of integrating excellent traditional culture into news courses in colleges and universities, and put forward
corresponding strategic suggestions.
