Abstract


This paper provides a review and outlook on research in the field of phonetics, focusing on the exploration of phonological awareness. By analyzing the definition, research background, developmental history, and influencing factors of phonological awareness, we aim to
reveal the impact of phonological awareness training on middle school students English learning process. Additionally, we will explore potential future directions for development. This study will investigate the trends in phonological awareness research, offering valuable insights
for scholars and practitioners in the field of phonetics and promoting the further development of phonological awareness research.
