The common values shared by all of humanitysuch as peace, development, equity, justice, democracy, and freedomtranscend
differences in race, culture, and nationality, serving as a crucial foundation for building a shared future for mankind. As an essential component aimed at nurturing virtue and education, high school ideological and political education plays a pivotal role in instilling these universal
values in students. This paper delves into the fundamental meanings of these shared human values and examines how they can be effectively
integrated into the curriculum of high school ideological and political education, exploring both the synergies and implications of this integration for value-based learning.
