The Impact of Visual Aids on Vocabulary Learning and Memory Retention among Vocational Students
Abstract
retention. Through a comparative experimental design between two groups, it evaluated the effects of different visual aids on the efficiency
of English vocabulary learning and long-term memory retention of junior college students. The study found that the experimental group was
significantly better than the control group in vocabulary mastery and memory retention, and the students had a positive attitude towards visual
aids. Therefore, it is suggested that secondary vocational English teachers should actively use visual aids effectively.
