Reflection on the Problem of Teacher Exit Mechanism and Response Strategies

Jiangling Tan, Wenming Ye

Abstract

With the solid advancement of high-quality development in the current educational cause, establishing a scientific and effective
exit mechanism is not only an inherent requirement for optimizing the teaching staff but also an important measure for building an educational powerhouse. At present, Chinas teacher exit mechanism is still in its initial development stage, and there are problems in the policy
formulation and practical process. For example, the exit standards are not clear enough, the exit procedures lack standardization, the guarantees after exit are imperfect, and there is a lack of effective restraint mechanisms. To solve these problems, it is necessary to clarify the
evaluation standards for unqualified teachers, standardize the teacher exit procedures, improve the exit guarantees, and construct restraint
mechanisms, thereby comprehensively optimizing the quality and structure of the teaching staff through survival of the fittest and healing
the sick and saving the people.
