Abstract
With ongoing educational reform in China, cultivating innovative talents has become a key goal of higher education. The college
English curriculum not only improves language skills but also promotes correct values and social responsibility. Recently, integrating innovation and entrepreneurship thinking (Double Innovation Thinking) with ideological and political education (Ideological and Political
Elements) has become a focus in the reform of college English courses. This paper explores the integration model of these elements, examining how it enhances students innovation, entrepreneurial skills, and moral development. It also analyzes the current state of college English
teaching, identifies issues, and proposes strategies for effectively combining these approaches to cultivate innovative talents in line with the
new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
