Qingling Li

Abstract

As technology continues to transform education, personalized learning and virtual reality (VR) have emerged as promising tools
to enhance English language instruction for vocational college students. This paper explores the theoretical foundations and practical strategies for integrating these technologies into immersive learning environments. By tailoring content to individual needs and immersing learners
in realistic, interactive scenarios, personalized learning and VR enable students to develop stronger linguistic competence, improve cultural
understanding, and gain confidence in using English. Through a comprehensive discussion and detailed examples, this study highlights how
technology integration can address the unique challenges faced by vocational college students, offering new pathways to more effective language acquisition and engagement.
