Abstract


The culture of farming and reading has been passed down from generation to generation, and poetry and books have continued for
generations to come. This kind of farming and reading culture reflects the inheritance of Chinese civilization, and is a rich combination of
material and spiritual progress. Agricultural culture is a distinct label of Chinese culture, carrying the genetic code of the continuous development of Chinese civilization and showcasing the intellectual wisdom and spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation; The tradition of reading is
an important carrier for the inheritance of Chinese civilization, and cultivating ones character and governing the country and family all rely
on the way of reading. The combination of the two is the culture of farming and reading. This article explores the development of agricultural
education under the culture of farming and reading, analyzes the effectiveness of agricultural education in Hangzhou, Wenzhou, and Quzhou
in Zhejiang Province, and proposes countermeasures for their development prospects.
