Exploration and Practice of Teaching Reform for Mechanical Engineering Testing Technology in Application Oriented University

Abstract


In the context of the national focus on developing new engineering education, teaching reforms in local applied universities play a
crucial role in enhancing student engagement and fostering engineering innovation. The course Mechanical Engineering Testing Technology
is a key foundational course in mechanical engineering. However, its abstract and highly practical nature often leads to low student motivation
and suboptimal teaching outcomes. This paper analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of this course and proposes strategies and suggestions for curriculum reform. These include designing course objectives based on real engineering projects, enriching teaching methods, and
optimizing course assessments. The aim is to align with engineering education accreditation standards, improve teaching quality, and support
the cultivation of applied engineering talents.
