A Study of College English Teaching Model based on CLIL

Abstract


With the acceleration of globalization, the status of English as an international common language is becoming more and more
prominent. As an important part of higher education, the teaching mode of university English teaching also needs to keep pace with the
times. Based on the concept of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), this paper discusses the teaching mode of university
English, aiming at improving students comprehensive English utilization ability and cultivating compound talents with international
competitiveness.
