Implementing Quality-oriented Education in College EAP Courses: Possible Methods to Achieve All-round Academic Development in Students

Abstract


Focusing on students all-round development, quality-oriented education provides multiple insights into the effectiveness of curriculum design as well as teaching contents. A successful curriculum design is inseparable from quality-oriented education, while the latter can
promote the construction and development of a course itself. College EAP courses, as a method to cultivate students academic and language
abilities, should also serve as a natural scene to foster students comprehensive academic qualities. This paper analyzes how to integrate quality-oriented education into college EAP courses and explores an effective design of teaching contents of college EAP course to promote both
students academic quality and professional ability.
