Exploration of the Belt and Road Initiative Innovation Path for the Internationalization of Chinese Higher Education under the Global Higher Education Center - Periphery Structure

Abstract


Based on the background of the global higher education center-periphery structure, this paper explores the development path of
Chinese higher education in the process of internationalization. By analyzing the opportunities and challenges faced by higher education internationalization under this structure, and relying on the Belt and Road Initiative, it elaborates on how Chinese higher education can innovate
international cooperation models to achieve common development and mutual benefit with central countries and periph- eral countries.
Through an in-depth analysis of diversified cooperation entities and innovative cooperation forms, it reveals their significance in promoting
the global flow of educational resources and enhancing the international status of Chinese education, aiming to provide theoretical and practical references for building a more fair and reasonable global higher education pattern.
