Research on the Teaching Reform of English Majors Assisted by Artificial Intelligence under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


Under the background of the construction of new liberal arts, the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and English major teaching has become an important direction of educational reform. This paper first sorts out the core concepts of new liberal
arts and artificial intelligence - assisted teaching, and analyzes the advantages and challenges of the application of artificial intelligence in
English major teaching. Secondly, it explores the specific paths of the teaching reform of English major assisted by artificial intelligence
from aspects such as curriculum setting, teaching mode, and evaluation system. Finally, it puts forward the concept of constructing a new
ecology of artificial intelligence - assisted English major teaching, aiming to provide reference for the cultivation of English major talents
in the new era.
